Each classroom package in the Guided Spelling program includes:
Teacher's Manual
The Teacher's Manual includes support and direction for a full year of spelling work with word lists, background, advisory notes, and extensive guiding.
A Blackline Masters Book
The Blackline Masters book includes all the reproducible materials for the program, including weekly homework pages for the students and reduced versions of the Spelling-Sound Wall Cards or Chart. Some grades also include a reproducible poster that supports classroom instruction and a transparency form for daily Guided Spelling.
Student Spelling Books (25–30 copies per package)
Weekly lesson material for students is available in a Student Spelling Book, one per student. Consumable.
Spelling-Sound Wall Cards (grades 1–2) or Chart (grades 3–6)
These visual resources play a critical role in helping students organize and understand the complexities of spelling and phonics. Each individual wall card or item on the chart represents one sound and lists common spellings for that sound.
